The most incredible part of this is he was always happy to help, take on more responsibility, and utilize his network. What most impressed me with Val is his way of negotiating. Buying a house with Val as our realtor was a great experience. I had heard great things about Val from people around town, and read great things about what he had done for people online. When I gave him a call, I chatted with him about 20 minutes about what services he could provide me. He was able to provide me with exceptional service that no one else was able or willing to provide. It all started when we flew to Little Rock to find a house. My wife and I and our three young children flew into little rock for 5 days to find a house. Val and his son picked us up at the airport and took us out to lunch before we hit the road, looking for the perfect house. It took us four days, but after looking at about 30 house, we found the perfect one! It was a cute house, in our price range, with everything we needed. Val was very patient as we were very particular about the house we wanted to buy. While many realtors would have been frustrated about our strict set of criteria, Val was convinced he would still find us the perfect house. I was also impressed with the way that Val interacted with our three little children ages 5,4,2. He was always courteous to make sure the kids were taken care of and making them feel like they were important in helping find a house. After signing preliminary paperwork on the house, we flew back to where we were living at the time. We closed on the house electronically from several states away. Val and his team were great to help us with all the paperwork and necessary documents. One the day we arrived with our moving truck, Val had four men there to help us move (free of charge!). Within an hour and a half we had my 26ft truck unloaded. After going into our house we ran into a problem, the electricity had been turned off! I had forgotten to switch the utilities into my name from the previous owner. The electric company told me it would be three days before they could turn it back on. We were devastated. Val once again came to the rescue. He got on the phone and called his connection at the power company to have our power on the next day! He is connected with everyone in town, and can seriously help you out with just about any problem you could run across. Okay, just to start, Val is one of the nicest down-to-earth guys I know. My experience with him has been nothing but positive. Wendy is perfect! She is not only professional; she is so nice to help with everything I requested. I am a Chinese buyer and I almost know nothing about buying a house and am not good at dealing with others. One of my favorites being at the Traveler's baseball game. I agree with everyone else who has given Val Hansen five stars. He gives 110%. He is all about integrity, excellence, and customer satisfaction. I really can't imagine getting any better service than this. He is the BEST at what he does.

My wife and I were both out of state residents and very inexperienced with real estate at the time of our move to Little Rock. Fortunately, we were referred to Val through other friends living in Little Rock. Val and Wendy both made the whole process so much easier. They cooperated with our travel plans and scheduled to see houses at all times of the week/weekend. As first time home buyers, Val and his associates stepped us through the process and provided us with plenty of options based on our needs and preferences. They weren't aggressive for a buy and were very patient throughout the whole process. Val's knowledge of the area was extremely helpful, and his experience with what makes a good home even better. Once we found our first home, Val had us set up with local bank for our mortgage. He also provided us with complementary landscaping and assistance for unpacking our moving truck. As with other reviewers, Val has provided us with plenty of help with the house since our move (plumbing, painting, yard services, etc.) He has an extensive network of friends and associates for anything you may need. He still continues to check up us not only as our agent, but as our friend. I'll continue to use Val in the future and highly recommend his services.

I first heard about Val through a friend. I contacted him from out-of-state, not knowing anything about Little Rock or buying a home for that matter. The first thing he did was break everything down for me and make things simple. His knowledge of the different neighborhoods, districts, communities of Little Rock provided me the opportunity learn about the new city I was going to live in. Hi, My wife and I recently had a very positive experience with Val, Wendy, and his entire office. I am a resident at UAMS who is not from Little Rock. When we first moved here, we were looking for places to rent and happened to call Val from his number on a sign, and from this point forward, he has gone out of his way to take care of us. He showed us one of his very reasonable Hillcrest rentals, which really was not even available yet, and we rented with him for the past few years. He is a great landlord with very reasonable rates, and he never went up on our rent and took care of things quickly. When we knew we would be staying in the area, we knew from his reputation that Val is a good agent and decided to give him a call. He is a great agent to work with, exceptionally knowledgable. We really wanted an agent who would not be pushy, and Val and Wendy were both very thoughtful and careful, and pointed out issues in houses that we would not have noticed. They quickly found us a great and affordable house, negotiated the seller to a very fair deal everyone was happy with, and helped us interpret the inspection. Val had one of his contractors meet me at the house to look at a couple of issues from the inspection. He recommended a great mortgage company, who gave us a great rate and got things going quickly. Then he really went over the top , and he rented a U-haul and moved us . . . he had his guys move all of our stuff. He brought lunch to everyone we had helping and hung out with us, helping us move. He let us out of our lease and gave us back our deposit quickly. We are so glad we called him, and recommend him to anyone, he certainly came through for us. If you ask around about him, I bet you will hear similar stories. He is a full-service real estate agent, who enjoys helping people.

In spring 2014 my husband and I found out we were moving to Little Rock for his medical residency. We knew we were interested in buying a house, but we knew nothing about the city. Before we even came house hunting, Val spent quite a bit of his personal time on the phone with us. He answered so many of our questions, and he was so polite. Val Hansen was instrumental in the sell of our home. After a bad appraisal, our first offer fell through. We were disheartened and planned to take our house off the market. But, Val saw the value in our home and was certain he could find a buyer. Putting his expertise and diligence to work, he had a new offer on the table in less than two weeks. From offer to close his knowledge and professionalism were evident. He was timely, consistently available and kind. Mr. Val Hansen is amazing. My daughter (Lauren) is in Med School at UAMS in Little Rock and rented one of Val's properties for two years. He was always available for any questions, issues, or concerns and always responded satisfactory exceeding all expectations and in a timely manner. Lauren recently decided to purchase her first home and the first thing she did was call Val and ask him to be her agent and help her out. The time, effort, and expense he put in helping Lauren find that right little place to fit her particular situation and needs was incredible. He actually strongly recommended she pass on a couple that she really liked due to various reasons, stuff that he saw and/or knew about the property that of course she didn't. He is truely one of the most honest and trustworthy men I have met in a very long time. Val is a true pro. He walked us through selling our first home and made sure to answer every question. Our house sold within 3 weeks, and Val did a lot to help us make sure the house was in perfect showing condition. He is extremely positive and he works very hard. Val Hansen provided excellent service in helping me to determine my house's worth and marketing it. His team is very very supportive and quick to help. In the end I decided not to sell the house because my daughter was moving away, and he was very understanding. When I decide to put my home back on the market, I'll call him. He's the guy I trust.
